Privacy Policy
How Kingsmere Care handles recruitment information.
Kingsmere Care is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all job applicants and individuals involved in our recruitment process.
We collect and use personal information to assess applications, communicate with candidates, complete recruitment checks, verify right-to-work status, obtain references, and meet our legal and safeguarding obligations.
The information we may collect includes your name, contact details, CV, employment history, qualifications, references, interview notes, right-to-work documents, and, where required for regulated care roles, DBS and identity check information.
We may receive your information directly from you, through recruitment agencies, job boards, referrals, email correspondence, or publicly available professional profiles such as LinkedIn.
We process personal data under UK GDPR on the basis of legitimate interests, legal obligations, and steps taken before entering into an employment contract.
Your information may be shared with recruitment agencies, DBS providers, referees, right-to-work checking providers, professional bodies, regulators, or legal authorities where necessary and lawful.
We keep recruitment information only for as long as necessary. Successful applicant records may become part of the employee file. Unsuccessful applicant records will normally be kept for up to 12 months before being securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymised.
We use appropriate security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
You have rights under UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk.
For questions about this policy or how we use your personal data, please contact Kingsmere Care at admin@kingsmerecare.com.
